With capacity to process over 100,000 ibs. of product per day, you can be assured BR Shrimp Co. will fill your orders with quality and speed. You are invited to tour our completely refrigerated 50,000 sq. ft facility which has capacity to store 3 millions pounds of frozen product

At Baton Rouge Shrimp Co. integrity is the cornerstone of our operation. Our Shrimp will count, weigh and exceed your expectations every time. To maximize freshness our shrimp are processed within hours of harvest, ensuring it reaches your customers at the peak of flavor. As part of our commitment to food safety we are a SQF level 3 certified processing facility. We have third-party audits, random inspections by the FDA and LA Department of Health & Hospitals and supplier audits. 
Our Quality Control staff is led by a Food Scientist with extensive experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety and Food Microbiology. In addition, we strictly qualify our vendors and have total traceability on our product through Gulf Seafood Trace and an extensive Recall Program. 


BR Shrimp Co. is a brand-new, state-of-the art seafood plant owned and operated by industry veterans. Our owner Mr. Tommy Lusco, launched the Louisiana Seafood Exchange in 1988 and grew the company to become the industry leader in its area. Recognizing suppliers' needs for premium Gulf product. Tommy decided to open Baton Rouge Shrimp Co. with the mission of "Quality, Integrity & Value".
